Ink already has more to do than simply bridge in and hold ETH. Users can explore community tokens and meme-style launches, browse NFT collections, use DeFi applications, and build an on-chain footprint through everyday transactions. The practical question is how to get funded on Ink and start moving between those activities without adding unnecessary friction.
That is where WheelX fits in. In one recorded session, we bridged ETH into Ink, swapped within Ink, sent an on-chain GM, and deployed a smart contract. Once the wallet was funded, the same balance could be used to continue exploring Ink-native apps.

Ink is an Ethereum Layer 2 built on the OP Stack and part of the Optimism Superchain. Ink positions itself as a DeFi-focused chain and is unleashed by Kraken. On mainnet, Ink uses ETH for gas and Chain ID 57073.
Important: Ink’s official FAQ currently says there is no information to share regarding an Ink token or an Ink airdrop. Ecosystem activity should be treated as normal on-chain exploration, not as a guarantee of future rewards.


The table below uses the results captured in the supplied Inspect Recorder and screen recording. XP values are the values displayed in the live WheelX interface during that session and may change over time.

The first step is funding the wallet with ETH on Ink. ETH is also the gas token, so arriving with native ETH lets you continue to swaps, NFT activity, GM, DeFi, and contract interactions immediately.
Open WheelX Trade and connect an EVM wallet. In our recorded session, we started with ETH on Arbitrum.

Open the destination network selector, choose Ink, then select ETH. WheelX shows the available Ink assets in the same selector, making it easy to see what can be used after the bridge.

We entered 0.00051 ETH. Before confirmation, WheelX showed the destination estimate, price impact, slippage, minimum received, estimated time, recipient, routing information, and XP estimate. Quotes can move as liquidity and prices change, so review the final values shown immediately before signing.

After wallet confirmation, the recorded bridge completed with 0.00051 ETH converted into 0.000479 ETH on Ink in 9 seconds. The interface displayed +7.43 XP for the transaction.

Once ETH is available on Ink, you can stay on the same chain and move into another supported asset. This is useful when preparing liquidity for DeFi or when entering a token position without leaving the network.
Set ETH on Ink as the source. For the destination, choose Same Chain as From and select the token you need. In our session, we selected USD₮0. The selector also displayed USDC.e, USDC, WETH, kBTC and multiple ecosystem tokens.

We used 0.00023 ETH. WheelX displayed the expected output, price impact, slippage, minimum received, estimated time, recipient and XP before confirmation. Keep enough ETH aside for gas if you plan to continue with more transactions.

The completed screen recording showed 0.00023 ETH swapped into 0.537458 USD₮0 in 4 seconds, with +3.06 XP displayed. The exact output can differ from the pre-trade estimate because the quote continues to update until execution.

WheelX GM provides a simple way to add a lightweight on-chain interaction without searching for a separate dApp.
Open WheelX GM from the top navigation or More menu. In the recorded interface, Ink appeared directly in the GM Today list.

Click GM on the Ink row and approve the wallet transaction. In this session, the live interface displayed +5 XP and +1 TX. The WheelX XP counter increased by 5 after the GM was completed. Reward values can change, so always use the values currently shown in the interface.

WheelX Deploy lets users create a smart-contract interaction on supported networks without writing code. This makes it useful for users who want a deeper on-chain action than a simple transfer or swap.
Open More > Deploy Smart Contract, then choose Ink. The recorded page showed Ink as a highlighted deployment option alongside other supported networks.

Click Deploy, then review the network and gas details in the wallet before approving. WheelX shows a deploying state while the transaction is being confirmed.

After confirmation, WheelX displayed Contract Deployed together with the new contract address. The recorded session also displayed +50 XP for the deployment.
